Troubleshooting Epson LQ-Series and LX-Series Printers Unable to Print

Encountering issues with printing on Epson LQ-Series and LX-Series printers has been a recent concern for many individuals, including myself. Just a few days ago, my Epson LQ-310 Dot Matrix and Epson LX-310 Dot Matrix printers suddenly refused to print invoices. This issue arose unexpectedly; yesterday morning, they were functioning correctly, but by afternoon, they encountered errors and ceased printing altogether. Despite my attempts to reinstall drivers, change cables, and even conduct test prints on other computers, the problem persisted.

Curious, I conducted a test print on another computer, as these printers belong to the office, providing me with multiple testing options. Surprisingly, the issue didn't manifest when I printed from the third computer. Returning to the first and second computers, I endeavored to pinpoint the problem. It became apparent that checking for Windows updates was crucial. Although I updated Windows, the issue remained unresolved.

Affected Printer Types:

Numerous printer models may face printing issues due to Windows updates. It's essential to note that the problem doesn't lie with the printers themselves but with automatic updates on the computers. The following printer models are among those affected:

- Epson LQ-300

- Epson LQ-300+ II

- Epson LQ310

- Epson LQ2180

- Epson LQ2190

- Epson LQ730K

- Epson LX300

- Epson LX310

Cause of Epson LQ and LX Printers Refusing to Print:
